During this time of waiting due to the coronavirus, this is teaching us many lessons:

I want to let everyone know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time and sending you love and many blessings your way!

- It is teaching us to live in the "Now" instead of thinking too far ahead
- Learning to work with each other as one (family, neighbors, coworkers, peers and our neighbors in other countries) instead of being so divided
- Learning patience and knowing that we will be okay
- Learning to take better care of ourselves and those who may need assistance
- Having gratitude and focusing on what we have instead of what we don't have
- Giving us an opportunity to pray and meditate more to focus on what is important
- Not to take others for granted, Mother Earth for granted and to think of ways we can use and recycle what we have or what we don't need to help others and Mother Earth. There is too much waste on this planet and we need to start changing our habits now so mankind can survive.
- Taking one day at a time to find peace and to reduce anxiety and knowing that this, too, shall pass
- Saying thanks to God for all of our blessings
- Making time for ourselves and going back to things that were important to us; reading a great book, cooking, watching your favorite movie, and learning to find happiness with ourselves
Suggestions to help during this challenging time:
- Practicing meditation either daily or a few times a week to find peace, clarity and calmness instead of living in fear, and to reduce anxiety
- Prayer
- Get more rest which will give you more energy and help fight depression
- Spending time in nature (walking, gardening, hugging a tree, bike riding, exercising) which helps us to heal and find balance
- Practicing yoga
- Eating a healthy diet
- Focusing on positive thoughts instead of negative thoughts which will help to bring more positive to you and change your energy
- Think of a happy event you had in your life that brought you great joy and happiness instead of focusing on things from the past you cannot change
- Journaling your thoughts and emotions which will help you to heal and acknowledge your feelings instead of repressing them
- Have hope for the future ahead and think of what you can do when we are out of this challenging period so you are ready for new beginnings!
